Known for its authentic Northern Italian cuisine, the new Armani?s restaurant features a fresh, sophisticated design and an atmosphere ideal for a romantic dinner for two, a get-together with friends or an upscale business function. With floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Tampa Bay, guests can take in spectacular panoramic views during dinner and enjoy a drink on the outdoor patio before or after their meal. Armani?s signature antipasto bar allows guests to create their own first course from a selection of more than 30 items and a dedicated station offers fresh made-to-order Caesar salads. Armani?s ?primi piatti? menu includes vegetarian, pasta and soup selections, while main courses range from veal scaloppini in a truffle sauce over mascarpone polenta to wild salmon on pan fried risotto bianco.

Absolutely Fantastic.
By danielpkennedy on 02/25/2007
I found it surprising that there are some reviewers on here that had complaints. Our experience at this restaurant has been that it is one of the finest restaurants in this City, the food is fantastic, the atmosphere is what you'd expect in a class restaurant, and the service is nothing short of exceptional. Yes, it is a bit pricy, but I'd expect that up front from any restaurant of this distinction. We go to Armani's only several times per year because it is a special place and we reserve it for the times when only the best will do, and when we are willing to pony up for this type of dining experience.

Yuck!
By tombaureis on 02/11/2007
I heard how great this place was and made reservations for my anniversary. Very stuffy atmospere, bad service and worse food. My fish had an oder before I cut into it. I sent it back for something else while my wife ate by herself. It was very expensive also. I would not go back here if it was free.

Excellent
By ketzwyler on 02/01/2007
Was taken there for my birthday and could not have asked for better. The view of the bay at sunset was post-card perfect. The wait staff was knowledgeable and attentive. The antipasti (frito misto), first course (tortelloni) and main courses (osso bucco and veal scallopini) were incredible. It was a re-definition of veal - I cannot imagine better. The wine was excellent. Main course servings were copious - the remaining osso bucco that we took home was sufficient to feed us both the following night. Creme brulee was superior. Definitely a night and a dining experience to be long remembered.
