Oystercatchers is located on the shores of the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay. You drive down a winding road into the Ruelle as you approach the illuminated circle drive flanked by palm trees and bright flowerbeds. As you enter the restaurant through the lounge, you are taken back by the spectacular panoramic view of Old Tampa Bay. With its innovative cocktails and contemporary furniture, the lounge, outside patio and lower bay-level deck provide a comfortable yet chic hotspot for locals and visitors alike. Our visually stimulating water views and sunsets provide a unique environment to enjoy feature wines and appetizers. Our menu highlights an array of the freshest, wild and line caught fish available, organic produce and seafood specialties with a unique and contemporary flair. Oystercatchers... Even our sunsets are made fresh daily.

Brunch-Never again
By spoof44 on 02/23/2008
We used to love going to brunch at Oystercatchers. However, they romodeled it and changed what was best about the place-the food. The staff is excellent but like one of the reviewers mentioned, the food choices are no extremely limited. They have removed many of their popular foods (and we heard many complaints to that effect too from others there). The food wasn't that good and I ended up hardly eating and spending 120 for me and my wife. A complete waste if your goal is to actually eat. The ambiance is no longer the same since they seemed to change it into more of a night life/dinner restaurant. Not a good change for brunch. When I questioned two staff members they mentioned people have told them they were disappointed in the selection now compared to before they remodeled. How about listening to your own staff?
