Hoosiers Nightclub is not your typical dance club, despite the huge dance floor, loud music and colored lights. Youll find anything from a local country band or a DJ spinning dance tunes to old favorites such as Foghat or Blue Oyster Cult playing hits from the days of bell-bottoms and miniskirts. The owner is careful to offer a variety of entertainment and will feature occasional comedy acts to shake up the routine. Just about anyone will find something to like at Hoosiers, and if the music doesn't do it for you, maybe the pool tables, dartboards, relaxed atmosphere or supply of greasy snack food will. Of course, some patrons need little besides the booze to keep them happy; Hoosiers serves beer, liquor and wine. Private parties are available as well. -- Carolyn Turgeon

HOOSIERS GONE!

HOOSIERS hasn't been in business for about 10 yrs. I used to go there about 2 times a month when it was open. There was a variety of music at all times and a good size dance floor. Too bad it isn't around anymore because that is what Terre Haute needs at times--a place where you get a variety of music and a decent dance floor

HOW COULD YOU LIST A LAME, CLOSED FOR YEARS VENUE! PLUS, YOU RATE IT ONE AND TWO ON YOUR LIST! MOGGERS IS STILL OPEN, POPULAR AND RATES THREE THROUGH FIVE!?!? HOW ABOUT BO DISCO FOR NEXT TIME!!!! I HEAR IT'S GROOVY!!!!

Hoosiers give "HOOSIERS " a boost when they are closed down? So whats up with that? The building has been vacant I know for more than 10 years! Its a sight for sore eyes! Is it those same eyes that puts this stuff here for all to read?? Hey lets upgrade this city guide for heavens sake!
