Though its main function is to serve as the center for Indian University's educational, cultural, entertainment and athletic activities, the Huffman Center is a multi-use facility capable of accommodating a wide variety of events, ranging from university basketball to rodeos to the circus. Athletic trophies and photos grace the halls of the center, which sits in landscaped stateliness at the edge of IU's campus. Since policy dictates the college is merely a part of the city, the community is made welcome at all events. In addition, the facility is available to rent for private dinners, banquets and performances, conventions and meetings. -- Lori Lovely
