Good review is dated 2003

I cannot believe this place could ever get a rating over one star - most likely LESS. In order to cut costs they slice a hotdog top to bottom in half - and THAT is what they sell for a "hot dog". When I objected the waitress said "Oh, you want a double dog" - NO ******** - I just want a whole HOTDOG. The cost is still MORE than any other hot dog place - but you get only half a hotdog. They put some kind of watered down version of what they call chili on your fries - it runs through and turns them soggy. The cost - the arrogance of the staff - they are on their way out.

for the tourists

I don't know any locals who think Packo's lives up to the hype. Whenever I'm there, I run into others who were dragged there by their out of town visitors. If you want Chili in Toledo, though, this is about it. Unless you're up for the drive to Cincinnati, where they know what Chili should taste like.

Anyone who is a real slovack or hungarian knows this place lost it somewhere thier pigs in the blanket would make my mother barf in her grave but the hob nobs seem to love if only for the social atmosphere need to bring the east side some real work instead of service work that does nothing to improve a eastsiders way of life

Even if you've never had Hungarian food, you're sure to find something on the menu that appeals to you. It includes traditional Hungarian favorites such as Chicken Paprikas, Stuffed Cabbage and noodles and of course-the world famous hot dogs. Warning-they are addictive!
