At Hideout Saloon, you can enjoy live music, good food and great drinks at more than reasonable prices. Classic-rock fans pack the Hideouts dance floor nightly to groove to local bands for no cover charge. Bands play mostly late-'60s and '70s tunes, with the occasional modern rock or country number thrown in for a little variety. (Watch the crowd rush the floor for "Taking Care of Business," a Hideout favorite.) The bar is also beloved for its low-priced fare -- you can get a hamburger with fries and a beer for only a few dollars. It also has food specials every day of the week. Be sure to stop by on Fridays for their fish fry special, considered by many Hideout regulars to be the best in Tucson. The bar also sponsors a pool league on Mondays and Thursdays, and holds Dart Night on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. -- Sara Tripp

An hour wait for no fish
By itswhognu on 06/26/2007
After ordering, we waited an hour and a half for fish that never came. We gave up and went to Thirsty's for great fish.

The BIG FISH
By notediver on 01/27/2005
For thirteen years I have been having the fry, and chomin' on the big H.O. cut of PRIME RIB.It is truly a meat eaters dream come true. If ROCK from the 70's, the Classics,if you will, melts your butter, than slap a little shoe leather down on a Saturday Night. "They be takin care of business, everyday, takin care of business every way!!!

Fantastic
By cyspirit2 on 11/22/2004
This is the very best Fish Fry in the state. Beer batter and yummy. Go with patience but worth it. Music on Saturday; some of the best musicians in the town play there. Rock & Roll, 70"S & 80's. Yes, there are still places in Tucson that don't just play the blues....Great fun.. Old Chuck Wagon plays there some times too.Step back and enjoy
