For more than half a century, the Zagona family (three generations of them) has been serving up some of Tucson's favorite home-style Italian cuisine. The patio, with fountain and flowers, is a favorite choice with diners. Inside dining is comfortable and casual with a family-friendly staff.Hefty portions of pastas dishes are the popular choice here. Thats a meatball!!
Try the pizza and lasagne. The owner Sal makes the meatballs and they smell like he put his own from unda his balls cheese on them. Becareful of the curly hairs in them

Good Times
Soup was excellent and different (Pasta Fagilo). Chicken Parm/eggplant, very different. We liked the sauce which is more of a burgundy color, very tasty. Will go back. Shrimp dish was also very good.
No parking!!
Local Tucson family owned, been here forever! Good prices, OK for kids, service is very good, outdoor dinning great in the warm months. Lots of students come from UA and usually well behaved. Some homeless folk outside.
