It's not the food...
By drgaylem on 02/07/2007
My friend and I were extremely disappointed in the quality of both the food and the service and we will neither return nor recommend them. There are far better ethnic restaurants in Tucson.

It's the food
By eangleton on 12/30/2006
. The food is still great but the move to the new location with the 1950's Art Deco motif or what ever it is leaves a lot to be desired. The old location had a nice cozy south of the boarder feel. If I had to give the menu a name I would call it New York Mexican but don't let that fool you the food is EXCELLENT. Give it a try you won't be disappointed

Know it all

Unquestionably the best mexican food in the state and possibly the country !! The guy who said "What's the big deal?" is an incalculable moron if he posits that La fuente (sucks !!) is a better option. Must be some dummy who thinks taco bell is authentic.

Excellence in Mexican food

Pricy but about the only place in Tucson worth it! They do have some difficulty with mixing a good margatita but the food it'self is gormet in contrast to everything else.
