Follow the road to the flashing yellow sign to Lennie's Club. The fact that Lennie's conveniently sits afoot a senior citizens home should give away its main clientele - ages 65 and well over. Life doesnt end for these folks after 65, and their days do not end after "Matlock." Forget about the darts, don't bother with the jukebox (if you do, their lounge singer is guaranteed to shoot you a nasty glare), stop in to fall in love with every piece of true, out and out, campy kitsch. From the padded, garish red walls to the lounge singer wielding a guitar in one hand and the other hand poised above the keyboard, ready to hit "play" on the next sequence so he can jump right in and play his guitar. Sancha, the feisty waitress may get up to wow you with her Patsy Cline impersonation. Once you've found Lennie's, and once you've bus- stopped, slid the electric slide, and even worked the Macarena with granny, you'll find it on your itinerary again...and again. -- Randy Cole

The oversight of who made "Lennie's" what it is, and why Lori Duke even has a gig there, is none other than Mr. John Redam, who when there for five years, made it a five-star-rated venue. Now, I give it a "one-star" for an ok Karaoke bar. John was the best, and Lori would not be there today if not for him. Give credit where credit is due!
