No one's sure how they got all of the dollar bills stuck on the ceiling at Bullwinkles but it has certainly been a topic of conversation for years. Maybe they shoot them up there with a blowgun or climb a ladder, but it really doesnt matter as long as there's something to look at and think about over a mug of beer. Whether you are sitting at the bar contemplating or up in the balcony searching for a closer look, dont forget to try their free popcorn in the rear or their daily hot dog specials. --Wesley Amann

Hey, I might give the place 4 stars, but it isn't that fancy, so it should get 5 stars for the guy that just wants a place for a beer and a great dog, (if you fix it up a bit), but I'm not complaining, cuz you can't get a dog hardly anywhere anymore. I've been stopping in for 30 yrs. This is your plain old neighbor hood pub, AND that says volumes. BB

This bar is the friendliest in the Twin Cities. I found it by accident and I keep coming back. Friendly and fun bar. Casual to dressy is fine. No pretentious people here.
