Earth tones and subtle earthy decor create an elegant, quiet setting for Nami, the Minneapolis restaurant which draws its name from the Japanese word for ''wave.'' The restaurant itself has none of the overwhelming qualities of a wave. Instead, it is gentle and subdued, with a sleek urban style and a gorgeous Warehouse District location complete with grand ceilings, hardwood floors and voluptuous windows that flood the space with gorgeous white light. The food is not unusual, but it is good. Tempura makes crispy edible art out of carrots and broccoli, while the butterfish is delicious. If you're a sushi novice, simply order up one of the platters. They offer various combinations which come in a divided and artfully constructed bento box, include mini sushi feasts, a maki roll, soup and salad. -- Sarah Tieck
