The Nicollet Island Inn has stood witness to over a century of change on the shores of the Mississippi River. The Inn is consistently named the most romantic restaurant in the area and its river views have been voted some of the best in the city. An immediately recognizable Minneapolis landmark, the Inn offers world-class cuisine created by executive chef Adam Droski, whose innovative and constantly updated menu includes a variety of seafood, steaks and gourmet specialty dishes. Nic's bar, just off the main dining room, is a casual, olde-world tavern and the patio offers stunning views of the Minneapolis skyline. The Inn is a convenient, comfortable destination for breakfast or lunch meetings while the 5-course Champagne Sunday Brunch is the perfect weekend indulgence. Newly refurbished banquet rooms are perfect for weddings or corporate receptions of up to 150 guests. Traveling patrons (or those weary from an elegant meal) can luxuriate in one of the Inn's 24 guest rooms.

No Buffet Brunch
By joereiners on 05/09/2005
Mothers Day 2005 Having been here before we looked forward to there wonderful buffet brunch. I called and made a reservation and they require a credit card to hold table which I provided. When we arrived at out time we were told it would be a short wait, after 45 minutes I inquired again and the table was almost ready It was ONE HOUR before we were seated and for this I had to have a credit card to hold my reservation!! The manager did comp a bottle of champagne only because we were ready to leave for another restraunt. To top it all off they no longer have Sunday Buffet bruch it is a 5 course menu brunch for $35.00! OK food, very small quanities nothing like it was, very over priced and overrated. Go to Lake Elmo Inn!!
