I seriously don't understand the two one star reviews on this page. Jennadc - I honestly can't believe that someone would bother to rate a place based on standing outside of it for 20 minutes? What the other reviewer doesn't seem to understand was that the apparent guestlist for that night was something done by one of the promoters throwing a party there, not the bar itself. I myself regularly attend parties and happy hours there and I've never had a problem getting in nor have I seen any sort of situation like the one described in that review. And I've never noticed anyone too scuzzy there but then again maybe you'd think I'm scuzzy because I don't wear f**k-me heels and a pound of make up when I go out to drink. As for the girl whining about the bar tender sticking up for herself? If you're going to leave someone a poor tip, fine. There's no need to present it to the person you're leaving it to like you're lording something over them. And I highly doubt that the bar tender was ignoring you and your friends. She was probably making her rounds during a busy open bar period. Your party managed to get 4 rounds of drinks in an hour and a half. I'm not sure where you normally drink in DC but that's speedy service in a lot of bars around here. Especially during open bar. On a Saturday. On New Years Frikkin Eve. But that all being said, to me eyebar is a chill little lounge with constant good music and a plethora of good people. I've never had a bad experience with any of the bar tenders (infact, I usually have excellent experiences with them). The clientele can be a little hit or miss depending on the event. My suggestion would always be to stay away from the top 40 nights and come out for the electronic music nights.  More Reviews
