Rate and Write a Review Don't let the plain brick exterior fool you. Inside, the PX is as glamorous as the most upscale 1920s speakeasy. The lounge occupies the second floor of Eamonn's: A Dublin Chipper, and you can tell if it's open by taking notice of two things: the Pirate flag hanging outside and the soft blue porch light glowing next to the entrance. This might just be the insouciance that Old Town has needed. Because the lounge has the tiny capacity of 38, patrons must ring the doorbell and -- if there's room -- will be ushered upstairs. Prepare to be transported into an intimate, luxurious space with dark cherry and pale blue accents, antique chandeliers, a wrought iron and wood liquor cabinet anchored by oversized leather sofas and chairs. Behind the bar, Todd Thrasher of Restaurant Eve makes mixing drinks look like an art form. The bartender won't be haphazardly pouring cocktail ingredients into a shaker here; Thrasher's creativity and discerning taste is reflected in the PX's cocktail menu. Try the Yin and Tonic (it features the PX's homemade tonic) or the signature Eamonn's Cocktail made with Irish red lemonade, Irish whisky, and yuzu.
