Rate and Write a Review As you step into the Aroma Company, muted red light welcomes you into the bar's dim lit, laid back groove that extends from the cozy leather chairs in the front window to the 1950s styled back room (a.k.a. the "More Lounge"). While the front room, with its cracked mosaic bar, dramatic coned shaped lamps and modern looking bar stools vies for a wallpaper spread, the More Lounge looks like your grandparents den. When you enter it's as if you've stepped back to a time when vinyl chairs were new and beatnik paintings were the art du jour. This is where DJs spin chilled out music for the neo-lounge crowd. The bar does sell cigars and is very cigar- friendly, and the drink menu may include its share of designer martinis, but there's something different about Aroma. Maybe it's the locale. You expect a neo-swinger's den to be located near the business district, close to the workplaces of the hard working professionals who frequent it. Aroma brings the after work hangout to the neighborhood making it less of a 6-9pm place and more of a 6pm to whenever place. Even though it is usually low key, the bar can get crowded on weekend nights, so don't come here looking for too much solitude. J.E. Coan
