Basil Thai Restaurant   

My cousin and I recently tried this restaurant. It was a cozy atmosphere, although a little far from the main Georgetown downtown area. The food was exceptional, the service was super quick, and the prices were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this place, and will be coming back when my next Thai craving hits... :-)

I recently tried this restaurant located a ways down the main beaten path of Georgetown. From outside its large picture window, you could peer into a bright world of colour and light with strikingly-painted tables and eye-catching artwork. The calamari appetizers were exceptionally fresh and tender to carry the flavour forward with its accompanying dipping sauce, while the duck was well-prepared with just the right balance of spices to bite back when bitten! The food itself was as beautifully presented as the decor. The service was also charming and personable. I had a very nice time, and it seems a wise choice for me to try again!
