A suburban Best Western, the Fairfax offers basic amenities and comfort for those on a budget. This 300-room facility can feed you breakfast, but not lunch or dinner. The reliable Best Western room formula will keep you comfortable, if not unduly pampered. The rooms are good sized, and pleasantly outfitted, with comfortable bathrooms. Youll find basic cable television, voice mail and work areas. If you have any special needs, be sure to ask and also inquire about special rates, discounts, and programs. The Best Western Fairfax is located on Chain Bridge Road, and may appeal more to travelers here on business in Fairfax County, or those flying in and out of Dulles. Plenty of free parking is provided; ask about transportation to and from the airports and metro stops. If you are into basic accommodations and want a reliable, affordable place to stay, this may be a good choice. Be warned, though this is not convenient to downtown DC.- Tracey Meloni
