AIR CONDITIONING DOESN"T WORK PROPERLY
By MSDaCosta on 08/28/2008
We went there three times, to see Patrick de Santos performance. To dance samba one needs space to move and lots of AIR to breath. We had none of it! One friend of mine got overheated dancing samba in such a crowded place without proper ventilation, and got vey sick. We had to leave. It was simply, unbearable and very unpleasant night. The Caipirinha drink had too much water, and the ordered food takes a while to be broght to the table. The show was great. The place stunk.

That's How It Is @ Bossa Sunday night is one of the best night in town. There's no cover charge and very friendly vibe. The upstairs bar music provides by Step Ahead Recordings Artists Sound Sessions Massive. Playing soul/funk/jazz/bossa/reggae/dub/house/d&b/samba/afro-brazillian. Come check it out this Sunday.....you'll enjoy the flowing of the night. Doors 9pm - 2am 21+

still great
By dbboylen on 11/30/2004
On a recent visit to Bossa, I found that it excelled in nearly every element by which I judge a restaurant/bar. The food was an exercise in simple elegance. The wine list was interesting and diverse, featuring a very eclectic blend of well priced wine. The cocktail menu was chocked with drinks you don’t see in every other place on the strip. I must say that the service was a touch spotty. My server was not as attentive as I would have liked, but whatever she lacked the owner was waiting in the wings to massage the room and pick up the slack. The very cool thing that wasn’t mentioned about Bossa is the music. The night I was there an amazing latin jazz/salsa band took over the stage around 10ish and the dancing started a short while later. It was like going on two different dates without leaving. I don’t know if they do music every night but on Saturday nights it is a damn good time.
