This hotel's promotional materials say "you cant stay closer to the Capitol," and that's certainly true! Immediately adjacent to the Library of Congress and one block from the Capitol South Metro stop, the hotel is also just a block from Cannon House Office Building and two blocks from the Capitol, itself. Every other January, when new Congresses convene, this hotel houses would-be staffers seeking jobs and newly-elected congressmen's family members. The rest of the time, it might be a good place for you. Renovated in the early '90s, Capitol Hill Suites offers efficiencies, studio double suites with two double beds and a sofa, one-bedroom suites with separate large living areas and one-bedroom suites with full kitchens. All 152 suites have at least kitchenettes. A wide array of flexible meeting spaces also are available, able to accommodate from 5 to 50 people. Capitol Hill Suites provides easy access to the Supreme Court, monuments, museums and other attractions. Guests receive complimentary passes to the Washington Sport and Health Club, just one block away. They also receive complimentary continental breakfast and daily newspaper.
