Chadwick's   

Nothing special at all about the food, in fact I'd call it below average for a pub, which is below average for food in general. The service was fine, the prices were fine, even decent drink specials, but food was bland, boring and boderline bad.

Whenever I decide to stay in town for my birthday, I always go to Chadwick's. And whenever I want to go out to a good laid back place to eat, it's always Chadwick's. I absolutely LOVE their baby back ribs. It is meaty and it falls off the bone. The bbq sauce that is served with it is some of the best I have ever tasted. I went here with a friend of mine on the day before New Year's Eve, because even though she has lived in DC for over 50 years, she had never visited Chadwick's. And she loved it as well. Just like the other reviewer said, it really does remind you of "Cheers", the tv show.

I find the service to be consistent but the food quality varies. I like sitting outside as long as I am not placed close to the garbage cans. Inside is pleasant in the winter near the fireplace or out in the solarium.

We went to Chadwick's recently to have lunch, I had the burger that was great I might add, my boyfriend had the fried chicken salad which he found to be very bland. And we sat on the patio which left me smelling garbage while enjoying lunch hhmm.
