At this writing, this unusual property (with a terrific location) is something of a hybrid - it looks like a Courtyard by Marriott, but it's actually franchised, owned by Doyle Hotels. Marriott's great service and Doyle's attention to detail both apply. When you call, be sure to ask which special packages, rewards programs and rates apply to your stay. Rooms offer all you could possibly want - voice mail, dataports, cable television and in-room movies, irons and boards, hairdryers, complimentary coffee service, complimentary weekday newspapers - the works. Room service is available, as is very complete concierge services, a self-service laundry, and a rental car desk. Arrangements can be made for airline tickets as well. The business traveler will find fax machines, copiers, and printers available - be sure to ask about any services you need which aren't evident. Enjoy breakfast and dinner in the hotel's restaurant. There's also a coffee shop and a cocktail lounge. It's tough to beat the popular and convenient Connecticut Avenue location of this hotel no matter what your reason for visiting Washington.
