Rate and Write a Review Far from the typical Irish watering hole, Fado is actually four bars in one space. Authentically Irish by design, the owners imported everything inside direct from the Emerald Isle -- including the artist that painted the walls. Look for a long bar in the front, a stone-walled nook in the back (including a faux stone well), and a spot that resembles a Victorian corner store. You'll also find a lounge flying Gaelic banners and slogans. Just a short walk from MCI Center, Fado attracts a large crowd before and after the games, especially on weekends. Guinness flows here by Imperial pints, every 20 kidney quakin' ounce. Bottled beers include the usual -- Miller Lite, Sam Adams, etc., but drafts offer more variety. Toss back a Bass, Boddingtons, Harp or Strongbow Cider and order up corned beef and cabbage or try a side of BBQ wings. These extra plump bites are doused with stout Guinness barbecue sauce and served with celery and bleu cheese.
