This lovely turn-of-the-(last)century Victorian townhouse is a delightful alternative to big-hotel accommodations in Washington. More like a small country inn, or perhaps even a private home, the Kalorama Guest House at Woodley Park is located in a quiet neighborhood near the National Zoo. Its within walking distance of the Metro, shopping, and a variety of dining options, from fancy to casual. The guest rooms (some with private baths) are nicely decorated with period antiques and come with complimentary breakfast, a well as an evening apritif. While "guest house" will tell you that this is not a full service hotel by any means, the welcoming and comfortable ambiance at the Kalorama Guest House Woodley Park makes it a popular, frequently occupied destination.
