Have been to this restaurant on several occasions. The food/ wine list excellent, service has always been very attentive but never intrusive in an elegant but relaxing setting. For a romantic evening or just one in which you are looking for a great food/ wine, it's hard to find better than La Tabernadel Alabardero.

Needs Attention to Detail

Somewhat disappointing for the price. The watercress soup was barely warm and the onion served with the rabbit was still ice cold, straight from the fridge to the plate. The starters were all excellent particuarly the scallops. The desserts were also extremely good. Service attentive and highly professional.

I have used Taberna since it opened, and find it an elegant dining room with superb food and a very attentive staff. You can't go wrong here, and the prices are in line with others in this excellent category.

Eyzarblu's Review

Muy Bien! Our sommelier was the geniune article (from a tiny southern town in Spain). Not only did he recommend a wonderful wine (Palemero), but he also remained with us throughout the meal! A wonderful evening all around (especially the black paella!).
