Mezza Luna, a stylish tapas lounge and bar, boasts an array of Mediterranean accented cuisine along with a variety of other tapas. Our elegant dining room is the ideal place to hold a business luncheon, experience an intimate dinner for two or enjoy outside dining on our spacious patio. Our menu features over 30 tapas/mezze, salads, homemade pastas and a wide variety of entrees. We offer over 20 specialty martinis, homemade sangria and fabulous mojitos. Stop by our lounge Monday-Friday from 4pm-7pm for great happy hour specials, which include both a $5 Drink and Tapas menu. Please inquire about special events such as birthday parties, group or corporate happy hours, holiday parties and fundraisers.

Great food great serivce
I went with my parents and very picky 13 year old brother after moving in to college. The food was excellent, the Chilean seabass and the mussels tapas were our favorite. The fruit infused martinis were also great. Service was very good I will definately take other family there when they come to visit
Wonderful Food & Service
I hosted a bachelorette party at Mezza Luna in June and couldn't have asked for a more flawless experience! The manager of the restaurant was extremely helpful in suggesting menu items for our pre-ordered meal. Once our party of 13 was seated, the wait staff treated our bride-to-be with complimentary martinis all night! (They also let her shake the martini shaker, which made for some great kodak moments!)
The food.... was SUPERB! The petit filet minion melted in your mouth and was paired extremely well with the mashed potatoes! The spicy shrimp was also a crowd favorite! So Yummy! The crab cakes, I thought, were just so-so, but that's my ONLY hint of a complaint.
We LOVED our meal and we were treated like celebrities! Thank you so much Mezza Luna!!!
The best food in DC
I had my birthday here a few weeks ago. It was a large party of 25 and honestly, there wouldn't had been another restaurant in all of DC that could have provided better food, service, ambience, or enjoyment. The food here is unbelievable, a unique and delicious variety. Plus, the service is 5 stars. The staff was attentive and friendly. We sat outside on their great patio, which is on 19th St. and near M St., where we were able to enjoy the street traffic while still feeling a more intimate environment. Thanks for a great birthday and dinner Mezza.
My new favorite restaurant!
This is my new favorite restaurant. The food is possibly the best that I have ever had. You have to try the Chilean Seabass! The beautiful interior established a hip ambiance that made me wish that I never had to leave. The service was impeccable as well. I'm definately going to start bringing all my friends here! I highly recommend it to anyone reading this!
