Rene's Night Club   

Rene is long gone now but the name still sticks. John is from Columbia so he and his partners favor Latino music but get diverse with some of the long time Philippine crowd still coming by. The room is brighter and neater. They offer Shag Group music on WED, Latino on THU and FRI and SAT is International Night with plenty of Rock and Roll and Disco blended in between Latin and even Arabic music. The same cover cahrges apply and even some of the old staff have come back - Hi Debbie! We enjoyed running into some old friends and dancing the night away on a Saturday this last time. The shaggers were a ball with lessons before that visit just as for the Salsa lessons on Thursday. We plan to come again.

Went there, heard the band, loved the music, but the service wasn't good. The server never came back to check on us or to see if we needed anything else.

Rene, I took my wife to your club on Valentine's day in 1989. We had just met on Jan 27, 1989. It was the one of the most romantic evenings we ever had. We went to your club often until we left Fairfax in 1994. We will be going back to the DC area on April 24th. Our anniversary (12th) is April the 27th. Rene: I used to live with Brenda that Jerry dated and lived with for a year or so. Do you know where Jerry is? I'm sitting here in Florida (I moved to Florida) listening to Berry Manilow and just thought about how much Jerry sounded like him when he sang! If you can reach him, please have him call me.
