A casual local restaurant & pub with tasty food, unusual wines & beers from around the world, and friendly service. The green dragon pub sports 10 beers on tap with 80 or so bottles from which to choose. Wines are offered by the glass or bottle with a full bar that offers unusual martinis as well as other libations. A fire place and 4 HDTVs add to the experience. Upstairs, guests find cozy tables located within 3 dining room areas. All menu selections are offered both in the pub and dining rooms. Experience a tantalizing tapas menu with a selection of cheeses, fire cracker shrimp and fresh calamari just to name a few. Visit us for lunch or dinner 7 days a week. Join us for a spectacular Sunday brunch which includes Frodo's french toast made from our homemade crack wheat & raisin bread, a variety of omelets as well as other delicious brunch & lunch items. There are far too many great and good restaurants in the area to waste your time here! The service-horrible The food- just above mcdonalds for 10 times the price!

Beer list tops the menu

While the menu is interesting and definitely eclectic, even "global," the execution does not quite match conception. The selection of wines by the glass was disappointing...but the evening was salvaged by the extensive offering of micro-brews.

You'll do better

The food is overly prepared --remember, this is not haute cuisine, so the chef seems to keep dumping stuff on a dish to avoid being seemed incompetent. A version of crushed pecans, seasonings of some form, and a whatever did not do justice to some poor redfish. Nor did the surly attitude of a waiter who resented having only one instead of two diners at my table. Good bread though, if you wade through the rest of the debris thoughout service, the poorly presented meal, and the waiting list. A slightly promising although boring bar, no parking, no reason at all as to why to go there unless you live in Old Town and want to way boring prices.

The atmosphere was perfect, the food was delicous, the wine and beer were to die for! Overall amazing evening!
