Wasabi Zen   

The best sushi around! Very creative and different rolls.

My favorite sushi restaurant in the metro area was replaced the day Wasabi Zen opened its doors in Olney, Maryland several years ago. A creative and unique sushi restaurant, their specialty is their rolls. I was never one to fool around with rolls too much, I prefered to go for the straight sushi right away, but Wasabi Zen changed all that. Each roll is not just an ordinary sushi roll, but a work of art. Different tectures, colors, shapes and sizes, when you're presented with such a display, it's almost a shame to ruin it by eating it. But after you start in, you just can't stop. Amazing tastes that will make you wonder how you ever survived so long without such a place. I'm almost reluctant to mention the following for fear there won't be any left for me the next time I go, but also superb is their white tuna sushi. I recommend at least an order of that straight away, then start in on the rolls. Fine selection of Japanese beers or hot sake. Friendly wait staff and classic environment with accompanying soft music from Japan to enjoy a fine Japanese meal. This one you have to try!
