Simply perfect
By andreasp229 on 08/16/2004
The best decision I made as the maid of honor was to have my sister's bridal shower at the Sundy House for a Sunday brunch. It was absolutely wonderful. The food was excellent and many tasty items to choose from (carving board to the best belgian waffles that I ever tasted, chocolate strawberries, mimosa's..I could go on and on!). The service was excellent and the atmosphere could not of been better. We did eat indoors since August tends to be a little too hot to eat outside but we will definitely return to enjoy the tropical landscaping once the cooler weather permits. Overall, an lovely brunch!

Absolutely Beautiful, but Bring $$$$$

Place is really nice, from the elegant rooms to the lush, tropical landscape. Service was great, but food was ok for taste, quantity and its high price. Highly recommend visit for older couples/family.

Not what it used to be

Having ecently had brunch at Sundy House I can say that it is not what it used to be. Carvers stopped serving meat early, dishes were not eplenished, and desserts were VERY skimpy compared to my previous brunches. For $40 a person it is nolonger worth the price!

Wow! Worth the visit!

Had my Thanksgiving buffet meal there. One of the best buffets that I have ever had. What a treat and surely a treasure of a place. Everybody should go at least once just to see its best kept secret.....their well established tropical garden. Very romantic place. Food...excellent. Service...top notch! I will be back.
