Mild-mannered by day, wild by night, River City Ale House, owned by Mr. John Del Grand, is a well- frequented and much-admired Main Street milieu. During normal business hours, green linen-topped tables welcome you, and a long menu of vital victuals like wraps, salads, burgers and fresh fish will fill you up at very reasonable prices. But at the witching hour, the green linen is traded in for the sexy green felt of billiard tables, and business attire is replaced by Friday night Buck Nights (when all drinks are $1), Wednesday night Ladies Nights, and a big fat disco ball. The 2,000-square-foot dance floor and the oodles of cheap drinks make this place a lively local nightspot, as well as a favorite place to grab a hearty lunch. And, of course, you should sample the proprietary brews.

Dissapointed
By rusty1dude69 on 02/25/2008
I was with some of my friends to see Stage Right. They were really good. For some odd reason they were stopped by Jason and were asked not to continue. I thought that was not good for biz,.. I think it was because they had alot of young yuppy types of peoplke whoreally dont listen to good music. Jason Please Give Stage Right One more chance they are a good band. I felt bad for the lead guitar player because as he was leaving he said "I dont know if I ever could play again this is really bad". Anyway I thought this showed a really bad side of River city.

I went there to listen to a countr band and the band was one of the best I have ever heard. But for some unknown reason the man in charge stopped them midstream in the evening. this made no sense to us so there was six of us who left. I am just kinda curious if the man in charge stiffed the band for money. I mean he got our three dollars a piece, and we did not even get to enjoy the suossedly free apattisers but what ever. I for one will never go back to this rat Whole It SUCKS. As far as the Band is concerned I would totally love to see them again if I knew where to find them. I think they were called stage right but I am not sure. Someone post it if they know where I can find these guys I loved there sound. Old and New country with a mix of Old rock tunes and they knew how to play the croud. For the Band Two thumbs up For the River City establishment, Two thumbs down you suck

I recently had my daughters baby shower in the atrium. I can't say enough good things about the staff. Very friendly and helpful. Surprisingly the atrium was a very nice setting for the shower. A fun time was enjoyed by all. Thanks to everyone working with us that day, the shower went off without a hitch.
