A straight shot down I-40 from the Triangle gets you there, but that's only one of the reasons Wrightsville Beach serves as one of the state's most popular beaches. Portions of the beach covered in shells prove quite uncomfortable, so be sure to bring a beach chair in lieu of a blanket in case you land at one of these spots. Wrightsville boasts a scene full of families on week-long vacations as well as tons of college students working on their tans. Keep in mind that the University of North Carolina-Wilmington is just minutes away. Hop on board a Wrightsville Beach Scenic Cruise that will take you along the calm Intracoastal Waterway for views of the landscape and wildlife of the tidal environment.

The beach is really good and the food is really good to but i like the beach beather there is a lot of peaple at the beach lol but i really love the beach anyway

We like wrightsville beach a lot! my daughter enjoys the waves playing the sand...we plan to go back there someday...
