Elijah's Restaurant   

Very good food and right on the river. Try the Carolina Chowder, might be the best seafood chowder anywhere. Crab dip is first rate as well.

My husband and I decided to move to Wilmington in 1996 after dining at this wonderful restaurant. The seafood is absolutely wonderful, the river view is breathtaking at night and the staff is so helpful. Wonderful wine list, also.

For my grandmothers 66th birthday I took her to Elijah`s. I must say the veiw made up for the food. This upscale restaurant only gets stars for crab dip & veiw.Poor grandma was still hungry when we left.

I read a few reviews and decided to give this restaurant a try. It is located in downtown Wilmington with a fabulous view of the riverfront. My wife and I ate as the sun was setting and the view was the best part of the experience. She got the special, which happened to be Blackened Salmon on fresh greens. It was delicious while my chef's mixed grill was not as polished. My salmon was wonderful, as were the shrimp, but the tuna was dry and overdone. We did get dessert and both entrees were wonderful. I had the raspberry chocolate extravaganza and she had the key lime pie. If you're in it for the view try this restaurant. If you're a food connisieur(sic) try somewhere else.
