Oceanic   

After hearing so much about the Oceanic another couple, my wife and myself decided to see what all the bru ha ha was about. It started out great with a nice view of the water. After that it was all downhill. The food was blah and ho hum, the service was horrible, (has anyone there waitressed before) and the prices were high. Don[t have to worry Oceanic ......... you won't see us again.

I have eaten at the Oceanic for around 15 years ... it has always been a most pleasant experience. Great seafood, salads ... great for couples, families, large groups, etc. ... wife and Mother-in-Law's favorite restaurant and that makes my day too. Russell

poor service and passable food.

I used to work at the Oceanic. I know from expeince (picking the food off the plates on their way out to the table) that the food can be great. However it must be known that when a manger is pissed at the waitstff he will purposely spit in the food (Kevin). I also watched a line cook get a bloody nose wipe it with his hands and continue cooking, and saw a guy use the same towel to wipe the sweat off his forhead and use it to clean the extra sauce off of the plate before it was served (Biggy). But dont worry all the cooks have to wear hairnets. The waitstaf is comonly seen sneaking sips of Cocktails on their way out to the table. Happy Dinning.
