Oceanic   

I have eaten here many times over the years and I have always had both great food and service. Becasue of the view both during the day and in the evenings this is one of the few places that you do not mind if your food takes a while to prepare. I would recommend that if you are in the area that you try eating at Oceanic.

The problem here is inconsistancy. Some days its great and the next time it not. The food can be very good and then again it can be average or even below average. Service seems to have a high turnover so you usually never see the same server twice. In the summer tourist season its really risky to enjoy a good dining experience here. Management has had 10 years to get their arms around this place, to get it on an even keel, but it seems the money flows in too easy since it is in a prime tourist location, to give it a second thought. I am a local. Best time to visit? A rainy, winter day.

I have eaten here many times over many years, and have never been disappointed. Service, food, drinks, all are superb. On a nice day, eating outside is a pleasure, as well. When we want to spend some money, it's where we go for dinner. Lunches are much more affordable. Love it!

Have been there on 2 occasions and the first time the scallops were filled with sand and mediocre service. On the second visit had the mahi mahi and it was so fishy tasting that i could not finish. it was horrible. it does have a great view though..
