Oceanic   

We used to like the Oceanic but because my husband smokes we are placed in the bar which has limited seating. On two separate occasions we had excessively loud people sitting near us. The manager just passed it off as the luck of the draw. Of course they have no way of knowing people are going to be loud, but when I'm paying $100 plus for a meal we ought to be entitled to a reasonable atmosphere and some adjustment should be made when people are trapped beside shouters.

great food, great view, great service. appropriate porportions for the prices.

BEEN A LONG TIME SINCE I'VE DINED HERE. THOUGHT IT WAS OVER-RATED BACK THEN......WOW, WHAT A GREAT SURPRISE, MY WIFE GOT ME BACK IN THE PLACE, WE SAT AT THE WINDOW BAR AND WATCHED OUR KIDS SURF WHILE DEVON TOOK CARE OF US, GOTHERE, EAT, DRINK, RELAX, AND BE AMAZED AT THE FOOD/SERVICE/ATMOSPHERE/QUALITY............

We ate there 7/11/03 & 7/14/03 while on vacation. The drinks, the service and the FOOD is first rate. We went to the Bridge Tender and that has gone downhill!!! (microwave quality) The Oceanic's shrimp melt in your mouth...the crabcakes are to die for and their chefs fix a steak that is simply superb.
