Royal Oaks Bar & Grill   

This bar is now allowing gangs to come in and beat on their regulars. My friend was jumped and had major eye damage. I'm asking the Youngstown cops to police this property. I'd stay away from there until they get their act together. There are lots of bars that take care of their own...not just trying to make a buck off of outsiders.

I like dive bars. This is one of them...a few of the bartenders tried hitting on my girlfriend. That was years ago...I'm probably going back tonight. How ironic.

I can remember my Dad taking me & my sis to the Oaks for Shirley Temples (us), beer (him) and hot dogs. This was where the bricklayers, steel workers, etc. would hang after work. They obviously don't hang there anymore but it's still pretty cool. It's a nice old school kind of place. I'm glad it's still around!

Great people. Great food at a reasonable price. Make sure you try the burgers with sport peppers. Louie & John are just great.
